Amplifier R-2017 with Add-On Control L-2156 - mono

AMI K: R-2017 / 2017A   |   AMI Lyric, Conti: R-2017B

Amp 2017A  is used for the K, the same amp is used in Continental 1 and Lyric 1.The only difference with the amp used with Continentals, the 2017B amp, is the way the 5U4GB valve (tube)  is positioned in the valve socket. The socket is positioned so the 5U4GB valve does not fall out. The bakelite locating pin in the center of the valve plugs in horizontal.  The K the amp is positioned standing up, and  on the Continental is it on its side.

Lautsprecheranschluß:
Der Basisverstärker ist bei den Modellen K, Conti 1, Conti 2 und Lyric 1 und 2 gleich. Die Mono - Ausführung hat anstatt der 2. Endstufe einen Vorverstärker eingebaut.
Die Klemmen E1 - E6 sind die Lautsprecheranschlüsse.
Werden keine Zusatzlautspecher angechlossenen, kommen die Lautsprecherkabel an E2 und E5.
Der schwarz-weiße Draht dürfte der Masseanschluß sein. Er kommt auf E4.
Der orange und rote Draht sind die Anschlüsse für das Muting Relay. Die Klemmen sollten die Bezeichnung A1 und A2 haben.
An die Klemmen B1 - B3 kommt der Lautstärkeregler. (B1 = Masse, B2 = Schleifer, B3 = heißes Ende).

Speaker Connection:
The basic amplifier of models K, Conti 1, Conti 2 and Lyric 1 and 2 are about the same. The mono version has a pre-amplifier instead of a second outstage.
Eerminals E1 - E6 are for speaker connection.
If no extra speaker will be hooked up the speaker wire need to be connected to E2 and E5.
The black-white wire should be ground and goes to E4.

The orange and red wire are for connecting the mute relay. The terminals should be A 1 and A2.
Terminals B1 - B3 are for volume control (B1 = ground, B2 = wiper, B3 = hot end)
