1942:
Vorrichtung zum wahlweisen Abspielen einer beliebigen Platte
eines Schallplattenvorrats nach Maßgabe einer
Wählvorrichtung durch einen elektrischen oder mechanischen
Tonabnehmer, bei welcher der Schallplattenvorrat als Stapel
auf einem in der Höhe verstellbaren Plattenteller ruht,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß durch einen geeigneten, die
Plattentellerverstellung bewirkenden Mechanismus, z.B. einen
Handhebel, die gewählte Platte im Stapel der Höhe nach auf
eine Greifervorrichtung einstellbar ist und der über der
gewählten Platte liegende Stapel durch die
Greifervorrichtung automatisch so weit anhebbar ist, daß
Platz für den Tonabnehmer über der gewählten Platte
freigegeben wird, und daß ferner eine Kurvenscheibe (g) auf
einer Steuerwelle (p) vorgesehen ist, die den Tonabnehmer
über die Schallplatte bringt, ihn sanft ansetzt, nach dem
Abspielen sanft anhebt und sodann die Ausgangsstellung des
Gerätes wiederherstellt. |

Device for selectively playing any record of a record stock
in accordance with a selection device by an electrical or
mechanical pickup, in which the record supply rests as a
stack on a vertically adjustable turntable, characterized in
that, by means of a suitable mechanism effecting the
turntable adjustment, for example a hand lever, the selected
record in the stack can be adjusted in height on a gripper
device and the stack lying above the selected record can be
automatically raised by the gripper device to such an extent
that space is released for the pickup above the selected
record, and in that furthermore a cam disk (g) is provided
on a control shaft (p), which brings the pickup over the
record, sets it down gently, raises it gently after playback
and then restores the starting position of the device.
