Nach dem Einschalten dreht sich das Magazin nicht  - unabhängig vom Service Schalter.

After switching on, the magazine does not rotate - regardless of the service switch.

Beim Einschalten der R-84 geht die Beleuchtung an, alle drei LED`s im Netzteil leuchten, Verstärker wird zugeschaltet und geht in Standby-Modus. Das Plattenmagazin dreht sich nicht, egal in welcher Position der Service Schalter steht.
Display und Eingabefeld zeigen ebenfalls keine Reaktion.
Der Central Computer und Mechanismen Modul sind in Ordnung, sie wurden von einem Fachmann überholt.
Zudem wurden alle Kabel vom Netzteil zum Schalter und zu den Modulen auf Durchgang gemessen, sie sind in Ordnung. Was kann das Problem sein?

Antwort:
Dass die drei LEDs aufleuchten, weist auf eine korrekte Spannung hin. Es gibt mehrere Fehlerursachen:

1. kalte Lötstellen an den Steckern der Boards. Alles, was am Mechanismen Modul und am Computer sowie auch am Board für die Preiseinstellung an Steckern dran ist, MUSS nachgelötet werden.

2. Wackelkontakt am Scan Schalter

3. gebrochene Kontaktfeder (MOLEX) in der Steckleiste

4. einer der Crimpkontakte ist nicht richtig im Steckergehäuse eingerastet. In diesem Fall müsste sich etwas bewegen, wenn bei eingeschaltetem Gerät jedes einzelne Kabel fest in das Steckergehäuse hineingedrückt wird.

Beim Einschalten des Serviceschalters sollte auf dem Control Computer eine LED (+ 8 VDC) leuchten. Auf dem Mechanism Controller sollten 2 LEDs leuchten (MAGAZINE MOTOR und DETENT COIL). Außerdem sollte das Magazin eine Runde laufen, um die aktuelle Position zu ermitteln. Wenn das Magazin läuft, müssten noch die LED OPT SWITCH INDEX flackern, und wenn das Magazin über die Stellung 00 läuft, müsste die LED OPT SWITCH HOME einmal kurz aufblinken. In Stellung SERVICE müßte zusätzlich noch das Display auf dem Control Computer aktiviert sein. Wenn das nicht der Fall ist, ist die Verbindung vom Netzteil zum Control-Computer unterbrochen. Die Spannung wird durch den Mechanism Controller durchgeschleift.

Zur Fehlersuche ist es am besten, wenn man als erstes das Gehäuse vom Controller-Board abnimmt, die Steckverbindungen ansteckt und einschaltet. Natürlich solltest man darauf achten, dass dabei keinen Kurzschluss verursacht wird. Dann misst man an jedem Steckerstift einmal, wo das Kabel in das Steckergehäuse hineingeht und einmal an der Lötstelle auf der Platine.
Wenn dabei an einer Stelle die Spannung vorhanden ist und an der anderen Stelle nicht, dann ist  der Fehler sehr wahrscheinlich gefunden.

When switching on model R-84, the illumination comes on, all three LEDs in the power supply light up, the amplifier is switched on and goes into standby mode. The record magazine does not rotate, no matter in which position the service switch is.
Display and input field also show no reaction.
The central computer and mechanism module are fine, they were overhauled by a professional person.
In addition, all wires from the power supply to the switch and to the modules have been measured for continuity, they are fine. What can be the problem?

Answer:
The fact that the three LEDs light up indicates that the voltage is correct. There are several error causes:

1. Cold solder joints on the connectors of the boards. All connectors on the mechanism module and on the computer as well as on the board for the price setting MUST be re-soldered.

2. Loose contact at the scan switch

3. Broken contact spring (MOLEX) in the connector strip

4. One of the crimp contacts is not properly engaged in the connector housing. In this case, something should move when each individual cable is pressed firmly into the connector housing with the jukebox switched on.

When the service switch is switched on, one LED (+ 8 VDC) should light up on the Control Computer. On the Mechanism Controller, 2 LEDs should be lit (MAGAZINE MOTOR and DETENT COIL). Also, the magazine should run one rotation to determine the current position. When the magazine is running, the LED OPT SWITCH INDEX should still flicker, and when the magazine passes the 00 position, the LED OPT SWITCH HOME should flash once briefly. In SERVICE position, the display on the control computer should also be activated. If this is not the case, the connection from the power supply unit to the control computer is interrupted. The voltage is looped through the mechanism controller.

For troubleshooting, it is best to first remove the housing from the controller board, plug in the connectors and switch on. Of course, you should make sure that no short circuit is caused. Then measure at each connector pin once where the cable enters the connector housing and once at the soldering point on the board.
If the voltage is present at one point and not at the other, then the error is most likely found.
