Meine Seeburg LPC480
läuft auf 33 und 45 U/Min. Kann man diese
Funktion abzustellen, um Singles mit einem kleinen Loch bei 45 U/Min
abzuspielen?

Die LPC480 spielt generell die Platten mit 33 RPM ab. Wenn eine Platte mit
dem großen Lochdurchmesser ins Laufwerk geschoben wird, "ertastet" das
die Mechanik und schaltet über die sog. "Speed Unit", die unten im Gerät
eingebaut ist, die Geschwindigkeit auf 45 RPM hoch. Wenn eine Platte mit
dem kleinen Loch abgespielt wird, bleibt der Schalter - "clamp arm
switch" offen und die Geschwindigkeit bleibt bei 33 RPM. Sie müßten also
den Schalter - er ist im Plattenklemmbereich im unteren Bereich
angeordnet - so verstellen, daß er immer geschlossen ist.
33 U/Min Platten mit dem kleinen Loch werden dann natürlich auch immer zu
schnell abgespielt. |

Answer:
The LPC480 generally plays records at 33 RPM. When a record with the
large centre hole is inserted into the carriage, the mechanism "senses"
this and switches the speed to 45 RPM via the so-called speed unit,
which is built into the bottom of the jukebox. When a record with the
small centre hole is played, the "clamp arm switch" remains open and the
speed remains at 33 RPM. You would therefore have to adjust the switch -
located in the lower part of the record clamping area - so that it is
always closed.
Of course, 33 RPM records with the small centre hole will always be
played too fast.
