Anschluß an externe HiFi-Anlage

Ich möchte meine Rock-Ola Empress 200, Modell 1497, mit Röhren-Verstärker Modell 35260-A, an die Hi-Fi Anlage anzuschließen. Kann mir jemand sagen, wo ich das Signal abnehmen kann, und ob es an 'Line' oder 'Phono' angeschlossen werden kann?

Antwort:
Du nimmst das Tonabnehmerkabel, was normalerweise in den Röhrenverstärker geht, versiehst das Kabel mit einem passenden Stecker und schließt es ohne Vorverstärker an 'Aux' oder 'Tape' an. Dazu muß der originale Stecker abgelötet werden. Bitte nicht an 'Phono' anschließen, wenn die Empress noch ein Kristall- oder Keramiksystem hat, würde nicht zum  magnetischen Eingang der modernen Anlage passen.

Um die Mute Funktion der Box nicht auszuschalten: 
das Signal unten im Verstärker an der Eingangsbuchse und am Mute Relais abgreifen. Zusätzlich an das Mute Relais hängst du ein 24 V Relais mit 4 Wechslern, welches die Ausgänge des Transistorverstärkers schaltet. So hat man dann schon mal die Mute Funktion. Das Signal gibt man einfach auf den CD Input. Dieser sollte eigentlich genügend Spannung abkönnen, um das mitzumachen ohne zu verzerren. Ansonsten das Signal je nach Aufbau der Schaltung im Boxenverstärker auch an den Regelpoti für den Eingang abgreifen. So kann es noch ein bißchen heruntergeregelt werde, falls das System doch zuviel Spannung schmeißt .

I would like to connect my Rock-Ola Empress 200, model 1497, with tube amplifier model 35260-A, to the hi-fi system. Can anyone tell me where I can pick up the signal and whether it can be connected to 'Line' or 'Phono'?
 

Answer:
You take the pick-up cable, which normally goes into the tube amplifier, fit the cable with a suitable plug and connect it to 'Aux' or 'Tape' without a preamplifier. The original plug must be unsoldered. Please do not connect to 'Phono' if the Empress still has a crystal or ceramic cartridge, as this would not match the magnetic input of the modern system.
 

In order not to switch off the mute function of the speaker:
Tap the signal at the bottom of the amplifier at the input socket and at the mute relay. In addition, connect a 24 V relay with 4 changeover contacts to the mute relay, which switches the outputs of the transistor amplifier. This gives you the mute function. The signal is simply fed to the CD input. This should actually be able to handle enough voltage to do this without distorting. Otherwise, depending on the design of the circuit in the speaker amplifier, you can also tap the signal at the control potentiometer for the input. This way it can be regulated down a little if the system does throw too much voltage.
 

Wurlitzer BGM Adapter

Kann man ein Radio an eine Wurlitzer CD-Box (OMT, New Orleans, New York, Carnegie, Las Vegas, Rainbow usw.) anschließen, welches dann automatisch abgeschaltet wird, wenn eine CD selektiert wird?

Dazu wird der BGM Adapter (Back Ground Music) benötigt. Dieser Connector ist zum Anschließen externer Audioquellen wie z.B. Radio, Tapedeck (Eingänge) usw. Außerdem verfügt er über Ausgänge, um die One More Time z.B. an eine PA anzuschließen.

Is it possible to connect a radio to a Wurlitzer CD jukebox (OMT, New Orleans, New York, Carnegie, Las Vegas, Rainbow etc.), which is then automatically switched off when a CD will be selected?

This requires the BGM adapter (Back Ground Music). This connector is for connecting external audio sources such as radio, tape deck (inputs) etc. It also has outputs for connecting the One More Time to a PA, for example.
