Model WC-1Z was a stroller / remote selector with speaker.

Some books mention this unit might not have been built at all.
But "The Billboard" from 10/1949 shows an ad where a used one is offered for US$ 69.50; an earlier issue (9/1944) shows an ad for a used unit of a Gem Hideaway with brand-new WC-1Z for US$ 550.00

Reproduction ~ 1990

This shown model is a new reproduction from ~1990s and has a complete Trashcan mechanism built in instead of the needed wireless units.
