Bally Manufacturing Corp: Phonograph (1945-1947)

Bally Manufacturing Corp. wurde 1932 als Tochtergesellschaft
der Lion Manufacturing Corp. von Raymond Moloney
in Chicago gegründet. Da die Firma schnell wuchs, holte er 1934 seinen Vater,
Daniel Moloney, und schließlich seinen Bruder
George Moloney hinzu.
Ihre Hauptproduktion waren münzbetriebene Flipper, aber auch Verkaufsautomaten,
Spielautomaten und natürlich Einarmige Banditen.

1974 wurde Bally von Günter Wulff-Apparatebau,
Deutschland, aufgekauft und in Bally Wulff umbenannt.

Bereits 1938 reichte George August Gast für Bally ein Patent für
ein Gehäuse einer Musikbox ein. Vermutlich wurde es jedoch nicht gebaut.
1945 bis 1947 kündigte Bally dann (erneut) einen münzbetriebenen
Phonographen an, ausgestattet mit einem Gabel-Mechanismus. Designs und mind. ein
Modell wurden erstellt, aber es kam nicht zur Serienproduktion.
Bally Manufacturing Corp.
was founded as a subsidiary of Lion Manufacturing Corp. by
Raymond Moloney in
Chicago in 1932. Because of a fast growing Raymond brought in his father,
Daniel Moloney,
into the company in 1934 and finally also his brother
George Moloney.
Their main
production were coin-operated pinball games but vending machines, arcade games
and slot-machines od course.as well.

In 1974 Bally was acquired by Günter Wulff-Apparatebau, Germany, and renamed to
Bally Wulff.

Already in 1938 George August Gast filed a
patent for a cabinet design assigned to Bally. Most likely it wasn't produced.
From 1945 to 1947 Bally announced (again) a
coin-operated phonograph equipped with a Gabel mechanism Deisgns and a
at last one model had been made, but finally no production run.
