Rodney Pantages Inc., Hollywood, entered the market with a nice Maestro Your-Choice-By-Voice system in the autumn 1940, and later also made cabinets for the system offering a program of not less than 2,000 selections.

Dies ist ein seltener Telefon-Musik-Fernwähler aus den späten 1940er Jahren, Er sieht ähnlich wie die Melody Lane von Phonette aus, wurde aber von Pantages Maestro Co. in Hollywood, Kalifornien, hergestellt. Sie funktioniert mit einem Dime oder Quarter und hat ein Mikrofon, über das man mit einer Telefonistin mitteilt, was man hören möchte.

This is a rare telephone music wallbox from the late 1940s that looks similar to the Melody Lane Phonette but is manufactured by Pantages Maestro Co. Hollywood California. It takes a dime or a quarter and has a microphone in it where you would talk to a live operator and let them know what you wanted to hear.
