Stark Novelty Mfg. Co., founded in 1920, run by Walter Angeli, of Canton, Ohio, was a representive of O.D. Jennings. They featured phonographs and light-up ensembles next to other arcade machines, novelty games, etc.
In 1938 Walter Angeli saw the trend to rebuild automatic coin-op phonographs and decided to build lightup ensembles for his own jukeboxes on location. It did not take long, other orperators got interested and also wanted lightup ensembles for their own phonographs.
This was the start of the manufacturing end of the Stark Novelty & Mfg. Co.
Stark Novelty is still in business in fourth generation today - https://www.angelistarknovelty.com/

Another version Rock-Ola Regular, series B with light-up kit and Special Slug Rejector introduced by Rock-Ola in 1938.
Due to the three center bars and grille plastics we guess it is a light-up ensemble made or offered by Stark & Novelty.
If anybody can supply more information or even the missing plastics we'll be happy to get your email.
