ist interessant festzustellen, dass die Rudolph Wurlitzer Company über
ein funktionsfähiges TLMS, Telephone Line Music System, verfügte, das
von La Mar E. Hayslett und Francis M. Schmidt entworfen und am 3.
September 1940 zum Patent angemeldet wurde. Aber es scheint, dass
Wurlitzer das System nie vermarktet hat.
Die mächtige Firma Wurlitzer muss ernsthafte Gründe gehabt haben, nicht
mit Rock-Ola und AMI auf diesem Gebiet zu konkurrieren, aber es gibt
bisher keine Aufzeichnungen darüber.

interesting to note, that The Rudolph Wurlitzer Company had a workable
TLMS, Telephone Line Music System, designed by La Mar E. Hayslett and
Francis M. Schmidt and filed for patent on the 3rd September, 1940. But
it seems Wurlitzer never did market the system.
The mighty Wurlitzer
company must have had serious reasons not to compete with Rock-Ola and
AMI in this field, but there is no record today of such reasons.
