The amount of selections could have been a leading point when purchasing a jukebox. In 1952 Rock-Ola introduced as the first manufacturer a jukebox playing 120 selection either in 45 or 78 rpm: Model 1436 Fireball. The new jukebox uses a rotating record carousel and the records gets taken out by a moveable gripper. This allows to play both sides of a record.
