Die Platte wird aus dem Magazin genommen, für einen kurzen Moment angespielt und sofort wieder zurückgelegt, ohne sie abzuspielen.

Record moves from rack, played for a short moment but then returned without being played.

• Tonarmendschalter ist dauerhaft geöffnet: die Lötstellen und den Schalter überprüfen und ggfs. ersetzen
  Bei Jupiter Musikboxen wird der Tonarm Endschalter geöffnet, wenn die Platte weggelegt werden soll. Hatte die Musikbox einen Fernregler mit Reject-Funktion eingebaut, dann war der natürlich auch geschlossen. Fehlt dieser, dann ist der Stromkreis offen und die Jukebox führt dauernd das Zurücklegen der Single aus.
  ACHTUNG !!! Dieser Kontakt führt 110V !!! Es besteht Lebensgefahr !!! Nicht am Schalter arbeiten, wenn die Musikbox eingesteckt ist. Immer den Netzstecker ziehen !!!

• Schalter C4 ist noch geöffnet: Schalter überprüfen und ggfs. neu justieren

• Relais für Netzteil oder Verstärker reagieren nicht: auf mechanische und elektrische Funktion überprüfen

• Löschtaste auf der Rückseite der Jukebox oder am Fernregler ist aktiviert: überprüfen

• Schalter zum Klemmen der Platte C23 schließt nicht: überprüfen und ggfs. justieren

• Stecker vom Verstärker zum Netzteil hat keinen richtigen Kontakt: Stecker und Verdrahtung überprüfen

• Tonearm cutoff switch is permanently open: Check the solder joints and the switch and replace if necessary
  On Jupiter jukeboxes, the tonearm cutoff switch gets opened when the record is to be returned. If the jukebox had installed a remote control with reject function, then this was of course also closed. If this is missing, then the circuit is open and the jukebox is constantly returning the record.
  Caution !!! This contact has 110V !!! There is a danger to life !!! Do not work on the switch when the jukebox is plugged in. Always pull out the mains plug !!!

• Switch C4 is still open:
  Check the switch and re-adjust if necessary

• Relay for power supply unit or amplifier does not react: Check for mechanical and electrical function

• Cancel button on the back of the jukebox or on the remote volume control is activated: Check

• Switch for clamping plate C23 does not close: Check and adjust if necessary

• Plug from amplifier to power supply unit does not make proper contact: Check plug and wiring

• Der Sicherheitsschalter am Plattenspannkonus hat keinen Kontakt, wenn er geschlossen ist: Sicherstellen, dass die Kontakte fest an der Basis des Plattenspannkonus anliegen. Sicherstellen, dass der Nockenschalter Nr. 3 beim 180° Hub der Nocke Kontakt herstellt.

• Spielrelais-Einstellschalter an Nocke Nr. 3 stellt den Kontakt für "Spiel" nicht her: Reinigen der Kontakte und sicherstellen, dass sie einwandfrei funktionieren.

• Der Haltestromkreis des Spielrelais, hergestellt durch den Mikroschalter für das Spielende, ist nicht vollständig: Den gesamten Schaltkreis des Spielrelais überprüfen. Es handelt sich um einen kontinuierlichen Regelkreis durch die oben genannten Stellen sowie die Öffnerkontakte des Abbruchrelais, das sich auf dem Board mit dem Hauptschalter "Ein - Aus" befindet.
  Modelle E80/100 und F100: Dieser Teil des Stromkreises wird durch einen Öffner-Druckschalter vervollständigt, der sich auf der gleichen "AUS-EIN"-Schaltermontageplatte befindet.

Several faults may cause this:

• Safety switch on record clamp is not making contact when closed: Insure that the contacts make firmly at the base of record clamp. Make sure before cam switch #3 makes contact at 180° travel of cam.
   

• Play relay set up switch on cam #3 not making set up play: Clean these contacts and see that they work firmly.
   

• Holding circuit of play relay is not complete through end of play microswitch: Check entire circuit of play relay. It is a continious loop circuit through above mentioned places as well as the NC contacts on the cancel relay located on the panel which contains the main "OFF-ON" switch.
  Models E80/100 and F100: This part of circuit is completed through an NC push button switch mounted on this same "OFF-ON" switch mounting panel.

• Der Tonarm-Endschalter C11 ist permanent offen. Schalter prüfen und ggf. austauschen, Lötstellen an den Schalterklemmen prüfen.
  ACHTUNG !!! Dieser Kontakt führt 110V !!! Es besteht Lebensgefahr !!! Nicht am Schalter arbeiten, wenn die Musikbox eingesteckt ist. Immer den Netzstecker ziehen !!!

• Nockenschalter C4 schließt nicht. Schalter prüfen und ggf. einstellen - siehe Seite 26 Service Manual Jupiter 120M/F100.

• Stromversorgungs- oder Verstärkerrelais arbeitet nicht. Beide Relais mechanisch und elektrisch überprüfen.

• Löschknopf an der Gehäuserückseite oder am Fernregler dauerhaft unterbrochen. Überprüfen der beiden Schaltknöpfe und ggfs. austauschen

• Plattenschutzschalter C23 schließt nicht. Schalter prüfen und einstellen - siehe Seite 37 Service Manual Jupiter 120M/F100.

• Verstärkerstecker im Netzteil lose. Stecker und Verkabelung prüfen.

Several faults may cause this:

• Record cut-off switch C11 permanently open circuited. Check switch and replace if necessary, check solder joints on switch terminals.
  Caution !!! This contact has 110V !!! There is a danger to life !!! Do not work on the switch when the jukebox is plugged in. Always pull out the mains plug !!!

• Cam switch C4 not closing. Check and adjust switch as necessary - see page 26 service manual Jupiter 120M/F100.

• Power supply or amplifier relay not operating. Check both relays mechanically and electrically.

• Cancel button switch on rear of cabinet or on remote volume control permanently open circuited. Check both button switches and replace if necessary.

• Record safety switch C23 not closing. Check and adjust switch - see page 37 service manual Jupiter 120M/F100.

• Amplifier plug loose in power supply. Check and plug and wiring

Single geht in Spielstellung aber der Motor läuft weiter und die Single wird zurück gelegt

• Sicherheitsschalter der Plattenklemme schließt nicht richtig: Reinigen des Schalters und so einstellen, dass er schließt, sobald die Nase der Plattenklemme in das Mittelloch der Platte trifft.

• Mikroschalter am Tonarm klemmt in offener Position: Mikroschalter verschieben, wenn er nicht in NC-Position ist, wenn der Tonarm in Ruheposition ist ( NC = normally closed = normal geschlossen)

• Löschtaste in gedrückter Position: bei Jupiter 120C durch einen normalerweise offenen Druckknopf ersetzen (NO). Bei den Modellen E80/100 und F100 durch einen normalerweise geschlossenen Druckknopf (NC) ersetzen.

• Das Play Relais im Netzteil fällt ab, um die NC Kontakte zu öffnen: Der Haltestromkreis dieses Relais muss über eine kontinuierliche Schleife aus Mikroschalter, Pufferspule beim Mikroschalter, Kontakt Nr. 3 des Nockenschalters, NO Kontakt an der Achse der Plattenklemme und über den NC-Kontakt des Löschrelais geschlossen sein.

• Record clamp safety switch not making securely: Clean and adjust points to make as soon as record clamp nose has entered center hole of record

• Microswitch on tonearm stuck in open position: Preplace microswitch if not in NC position when tonearm is in rest position
   

• Cancel button in depressed position: Replace with normally open (NO) push button on Jupiter 120C. Replace with normally closed (NC) push button on models E80/100 and F100.
   

• Play relay in power pack not staying energized to open NC contacts on it: Holding circuit of this relay must be complete through a continous loop of micro  switch, buffer coil near micro, contact #3 of cam switch, NO contacts on record clamp pivot and through NC contact to cancel relay.

Laufwerk stoppt nicht in Ruheposition nach dem Abspielen der letzten Wahl - z.B. Jupiter 120C, E80, E100, F100

Carriage does not stop at rest position after playing last selection - e.g. Jupiter 120C, E80, E100, F100

Prüfen, ob diese Abfolge funktioniert und alle Schalter richtig funktionieren:
Nocke (CA1) bewegt sich aus der Zahnstange heraus, um das Laufwerk zu entriegeln.
Schalter C1, C2, C5 und C6 werden geöffnet, was wiederum den Nockenmotor und den Plattentellermotor anhält. das Laufwerk befindet sich dann in der Ruhestellung und kann erneut scannen, wenn eine neue Auswahl getätigt wird.

Check if this sequence works fine and all switches work properly:
Cam (CA1) moves out of the toothed bar to unlock the carriage mechanism.

Switches C1, C2, C5 and C6 will open which in turn stop the cam motor and the turntable motor. The carriage mechanism is then in rest position and free to scan again if another selection is made.
