This idler wheel is for models Rock-Ola 1455, 1458, 1460, 1462, 1464, 1465, 1468, 1475, 1478, 1484, 1485. It is mostly mounted in models 1488, 1493, 1494, 1495, 1496, 1497 and can be found often in 404, 408, 414, 418 and some later ones up to the mid 1960s when playing 45 RPM only (no intermix for 45/33 rpm). It is made from aluminium with a rubber ring for a non-slip traction without making noises. The precise bushing provides a free of play cycling.
Inner diameter of centre hole: 5.4 mm = 7/32".

To know if this idler wheel fits your Rock-Ola, please check the following:

  • Can you remove the old rubber ring easily without cutting? The inner diameter of the centre hole is 5.4 mm = 7/32"? And is your jukebox set up for 45 rpm only (no intermix)?
    If yes, then this idler wheel is what you need. Alternatively, in case the metal piece is still fine, rubber ring RO115 can be used too.

  • Or is the rubber vulcanised to the metal? The inner diameter of the centre hole is 4.7 mm = 3/16"? And your jukebox is set up for 45/33 rpm, the so called intermix with a turntable with sensor and pin assembly (three moveable bars around a pin in the center) instead of a big center hub?
    In this case you will need a new complete idler wheel, our item RO112.

Please note: The inner diameter of the centre hole of this idler wheel RO111 is 5.4 mm = 7/32". Please compare.

Wesentlich bessere Qualität als das Original. Nichts leiert mehr, die Platten laufen schön rund mit der richtigen Geschwindigkeit. Die Kraftübertragung zwischen Reibrad und Plattenteller / Motorachse ist nun wieder perfekt! Sollte man tauschen...

Für meine Rock-Ola Regis 120, Modell 1488 ist dieses Zwischenrad für den Plattentellerantrieb genau das richtige Teil.
Seit ich dieses neue Zwischenrad eingesetzt habe, läuft die Musik wieder wunderbar mit der genau richtigen Geschwindigkeit.
Kein eiern und auch kein leiern mehr.
An Herrn Stamann nochmals besten Dank für Ihre Tips, die vollumfänglich zutrafen.
