A worn spring can be the reason for problems with the tonearm set down.

UK: We are happy to announce that we can accept smaller orders from our customers in the United Kingdom again!
The minimum order value (MOV) is reduced to EUR 30.00 for shipments to UK now.
Finally we got registered at the HMRC (Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs) successfully.
We are set up to pay UK sales tax directly to London for each order below the limit of GBP 135 net (EUR 160.00).
There is no change for orders exceeding this total. They will still be send tax free. Import sales tax and possible handling fees have to be paid by the UK buyer and are usually collected by the deliverer.
