Hunter

Product 9 of 19

We do not know whether the German children folk song "Fuchs Du hast die Gans gestohlen" (translation: Fox, you've stolen the goose) is known in other non German speaking countries as well. This song was published by Ernst Anschütz in 1824. In Germany almost every child knows this song about the fox, who catches a goose and gets threatened by the hunter if not stopping doing so.
When looking at this fairy tale figure one (German) thinks automatically of this song.
But this character is different: The fox is the hunter at the same time. Does this fit together?

This figure from the Kösener manufacture offers different characteristics and therefore invites children to play with full of phantasy and imagination. It can behave being a clever fox planning a strategy instictively and caring about the offsprings. And it can play being a hunter who rescues Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood or others, being a helper and good-natured person who cares about law and order or being a hero who faces up to the "wild animals ". No matter, both characters know how to help themselves and do find a solution.

The "Hunter" carries next to his clothes a gun, a shoulder bag, and the goose. These accessories are included of course.
