Accessories to convert a mono version to stereo

Mit dem Modell J war AMI der vierte Hersteller von Stereo-Musikboxen.
Eine Mono-Box konnte auch nachträglich auf stereo umgerüstet werden.

With model J AMI was the fourth manufactuerer offering stereo jukeboxes.
A mono version could be converted to stereo, too, afterwards.

AMI J stereo

  1. add an extra R-145 amplifier

  2. replace the mono control box with the stereophonic version

  3. replace the old mono GE VR 2 catridge with a stereo ceramic-magnetic one with 12 µF needle - see picture C

  4. add for each amplifier an adapter to adapt the ceramic catridge

  5. add a H-2260 AVC or two if one is missing

  6. all needed cables and wires and the "Stereo" glass to mark this as a stereo jukebox are included in the accessory set.  A pair of speakers is needed as well.
