Sound Leisure was founded by Alan Black and Kevin and Eddie Moss back in 1978. Beginning as a NSM distributor in 1979 they took the opportunity to buy the rights for the German Harting mechanism. The same year they did present their first own model: a hideaway with wallbox. To get the best sound quality the Pickering cartridge was used (which was also used by Seeburg from 1967 and up).
Until today Sound Leisure produces jukeboxes and is one of the few remaining producers of jukeboxes.
