Ich denke, dass die Princess ein helles Gehäuse mit lila Maserung hatte,
ähnlich dem unteren Gehäuseteil der Empress. Schon Tempo 1, Tempo 2 und
Regis hatten ja lackierte Gehäuse auf denen die Maserung dann farblich
abgesetzt war. Meist wiederholte die Maserung eine Grundfarbe der
restlichen Farbgestaltung der Musikbox.
Die Gehäuse von Regis und Empress (letztere nur im unteren Gehäuseteil)
hatten eine weißliche bis eierschalenfarbene Grundlackierung mit
entsprechender Maserung (Regis: metallicblau wie die Haube und Teile der
Tür; Empress metalliclila, ebenfalls wie die Haube und Teile der Tür).
Da die Princess ja aus der selben Zeit stammt, dürfte das dann auch für
diese Musikbox gelten.

I think that the Princess had a light-coloured
cabinet with purple grain, similar to the lower part of the Empress case.
Tempo 1, Tempo 2 and Regis already had lacquered cabinets on which the
grain was then colour-contrasted. In most cases, the grain repeated a
basic colour of the rest of the colour scheme of the jukebox.
The Regis and Empress cabinets (the latter only in the lower part of the
cabinet) had a whitish to eggshell-coloured base coat with corresponding
grain (Regis: metallic blue on the hood and parts of the door; Empress
metallic purple, also on the hood and parts of the door).
As the Princess dates from the same period, this should also apply to
this jukebox.

Hinweis:
Farbtöne verändern sich auch in 50 Jahren, und ehemals gleiche
Farben "vergilben" verschieden; je nach Untergrund scheint es, so
wirken dann die Plastikteile andersfarbig als die Metallteile. Somit
sind vorgefundene alte Farbtöne nur bedingt als Referenz geeignet.

Empfehlungen, Erfahrungswerte versch. User des Forums und kommen dem
Originalfarbton nahe. In der Regel empfiehlt es sich, anhand eines
gut erhaltenen Originalmusters den Farbton gezielt bei einem
Lackierer oder Farbenfachgeschäft mischen zu lassen. So kann der
Farbton an die übrigen Farben der Jukebox angepasst werden, ohne
dass es "zu neu" aussieht.
Gut erhaltene Farbtöne finden sich i.d.R. unter Leisten,
Abdeckungen, Profile usw., also dort, wo Licht und Nikotin nicht
hinkommen. |
