One More Time – Jukeboxes from five decades

A few decades ago it was not unusual to drop a coin into a slot and push a button to select a song. To see the record and the tone arm move closer and hear the song you picked is as fascinating today as it was back then.
In this exhibition, about 40 US and European models demonstrate not only how this technology developed over time, but also the design and musical taste of the times they were built. Manufacturers like Wurlitzer, Rock-Ola, AMI, Tonomat or Bergmann will show off their models to remind visitors of the glory times of the jukebox. These machines have become more than a relic. They are a cult object of cultural and historical value.
