Jukebox Parts – USA

for jukeboxes of US manufacturers

In German a "Musikbox", in English a "Jukebox", but introduced and promoted for decades as "Phonograph" resp. "Coin Operated Phonograph". The term "Jukebox" was related to black so wasn't accepted by white people. It is said that Glenn Miller first used the term "Jukebox" in public and that AMI took it over officially with model A in 1946. Next to "Jukebox" the term "Juke Box" can be found as well in old commercials.
