Monkeys
The variety of monkeys ranges from the lightweight pygmy marmoset up to the gorillas of 200 kg. Best known probably are the chimps, orang-utan and of course the squirrel monkey from famous Astrid Lindgren's "Pippi Longstocking". New studies will show that the culture of monkeys and humans might be more similar than previously thought and that monkeys might have a kind of a language.
Did you know that the term "Monkey" is probably derived from the German tale "Renaud The Fox" published in 1580? "Moneke", one of the characters, is the son of an ape.
