Seeburg continued to step forward and possibly assumed that the new 33 rpm 7" record would win through. Their jukeboxes were designed for 33 rpm and a so called auto-speed-unit was turned on automatically when a 45 rpm record was being picked up. Later auto-speed-units for 33 rpm were offered as an accessory.
