Wurlitzer 1015, 1080
Known as the 1946-47 jukebox model 1015 was introduced in Nov. 1945 already. Using fluorescent lamps it was claimed 66% reduction in cabinet heat. Due to a great advertising campaign at that time the name "Wurlitzer" became a synonym for jukeboxes in general until today. In Nov. 1946, just a year later model 1080 was introduced and continued the colonial design of previous years. All models play 78 rpm records originally.
