Description

A white duck in the wild? No, that doesn't actually exist. This is a domestic duck, presumably a domestic mallard. This species is most similar to mallards, but slightly larger and with a more compact shape of their body. Whether this domestic white duck is a Pekin or a German "Hochbrutflugente" - we don't know.
The German name "Hochbrutflugente" is due to the fact that the ducks like to lay their clutches somewhat higher, e.g. on tree stumps or piles of wood.
This breed is originated from the crossing of domestic and mallard ducks at the beginning of the 20th century.
Of course, it sometimes happens that one of these ducks escapes from its enclosure - and then you do find a white duck in the wild!

Our little white duck is very domesticated and likes to follow its owner. Only sometimes, her feathers get "itchy" and it nips outside to go exploring. But it is loyal and always comes back. We promise!

UK: The minimum order value (MOV) is EUR 30.00 for shipments to UK.
Orders below £135 net (~ EUR160.00) will incl. UK VAT. No import charges will be required when receiving the goods.
For orders above £135 net (~ EUR160.00) VAT will be deducted with the final invoice. Therefore import sales tax and possible handling fees have to be paid by the UK buyer and are usually collected by the deliverer.
UK customers with VAT-ID: Shipments will always be without VAT (reverse charge).
