The theory of the evolution from wolf to dog through domestication is against general opinion not very likely. It is assumed that more trustful, only "half wild" ur-dogs evolved, that were then "employed" by humans for duties they were better suited for, on the exchange of food. Later on dogs were bred that had no direct duty but were used as companion dogs that support and bring joy to their owners life.

The Japanese Spitz (Nihon Supittsu) was introduced in Japan in the 1920s. It is, despite his small size, a good watch dog, but the main purpose is that of a companion dog. . the Japanese Spitz is a loyal, intelligent animal, that needs a lot of human contact and is very lovely towards children.
Since 1973 the Japanese Spitz can be found in Germany as well but is more spread in Scandinavia und Great Britain.

Like on real Japanese Spitz, the hair is bright white, fluffy and long. Therefore an especially long haired and high-quality faux fur is used. Each single part gets cut by hand on the back to not damage the long hair.
