Wiegandt

Years 1954 to 1960: Tonmaster and Diplomat

Georg Wiegandt & Söhne, founded in Berlin in 1926, offered mainly surface refinement, and started in 1949 to produce vending machines. In 9/1952 they presented the first German jukebox. It did hold 20 schellac records on a stack but both sides could be played. A gripper turned the selected record.
