The flexible motor coupler for the model M100A is twice as long as the regular couplers - about 3 inch (8 cm).
After some decades the rubber is often hardened and cracked. The motor vibrations don't get absorbed anymore and can cause sound interference.

An allen wrench to fasten the coupler is included.
