Wurlitzer started a great promotion compaign in 1946 - 1948 for their models 1015, 1080 and 1100.
Therefore they assigned Albert Dorne (1906 - 1965), an American illustrator, to paint different themes with their jukeboxes.

Altogether more than 20 ads arised. They had been published in great American magazines and are one reason for the great popularity the name WURLITZER gained.

Even today WURLITZER is a synonym for jukebox.
