Kösen Novelties 2024

The Tyrannosaurus Rex belongs to the genus of bipedal (two-legged) land-dwelling carnivorous dinosaurs and belongs to the group of Theropoda (“animal foot”). With a height of six meters, a total length of thirteen meters, and a weight of up to six to eight tons, it is one of the largest representatives of its genus.
The name is derived from ancient Greek and Latin and means as much as “king or despot.”
Characteristic features include its massive head with sharp, wedge-shaped teeth, strong legs, short, powerful arms, and a long, heavy tail that serves as a counterweight.
The Tyrannosaurus lived in open forests and river valleys in humid and warm areas. Whether it was a loner or lived in a family group is still unclear today. As a pure carnivore, it fed on carrion, and it is now believed that it hunted other smaller herbivorous dinosaurs.

As we all know, dinosaurs became extincted. Nevertheless, they became and still are very famous in almost every children's room again since some years; most of all the Tyrannosaurus Rex. Children were motivated to read and ask a lot about these animals. They often do know more than we grown-ups do, don't they?
This is what shall happen to our plush tyrannosaurus as well: becoming a beloved playmate, maybe even a protector or a big friend. Take a deep look into its eyes: Aren't they friendly and facing?
