Description

Meerkats (Suricata suricatta) are one of the smallest within the mongoose family. They live in small groups in the dry regions of South Africa and eat mainly insects.
Meerkats show a great social behaviour. When nurturing their offsproing next top the mother there are other helping females too: Siblings, aunts and grandmothers. This behaviour is also found with alopine marmots and elephants.
Meerkats reach a height of up to 29 cm, the tail gets up to 24 cm. Their weight is ca. 750 g. They can become ca. 6 years old.

UK: The minimum order value (MOV) is EUR 30.00 for shipments to UK.
Orders below £135 net (~ EUR160.00) will incl. UK VAT. No import charges will be required when receiving the goods.
For orders above £135 net (~ EUR160.00) VAT will be deducted with the final invoice. Therefore import sales tax and possible handling fees have to be paid by the UK buyer and are usually collected by the deliverer.
