The two-part housing is made from colored through green ABS material now - as it should be for 45s.
Red-green housings or all red housings are not what Wurlitzer/Zenith ever made for 45s.
We added the "COBRA"-writing which can be found on early cartridges made by ZENITH (see last picture - sample only).

After assembly each cartridge gets adjusted and bench-tested on a record player set-up with a Wurlitzer model 530 amplifier (W1900/2000).

The 0.7 mil diamond tip plays all 45s well - from the early mono singles to new pressings from the 80s.
If you mostly play old mono records from the 50s and early 60s the new developed Cobra cartridge with a 1 mil tip is the best choice - our item N400-10.

Adjust the tonearm pressure at about 4 to 5 grams.

I finally found these Cobra units here at Stamann! I was searching for these a really long time for my Wurlitzer 1650 jukebox. They are a bit expensive, but that's normal for these kind of components. I am really happy with them!
