Chronicle by Gerda Krause and Rita Diefenhardt-Schmitt

"This book is written in memory of the three founders Norbert Acker, Walther Triefenbach, and Alfred Josef Diefenhardt, and their families, as well as for their employees of Tonomat and their families."

This is how the two writers Gerda Krause and Rita Diefenhardt-Schmitt say in their introduction.
On 30 pages they tell about the idea to produce jukeboxes, the foundation of Tonomat, the first V102 and their serial production, about the contract with British comapy Ditchburn and the acquisition by Canteen USA.

Both writers are inseparable connected to Tonomat: Rita Diefenhardt Schmitt as the daughter of Alfred Josef Diefenhardt and Gerda Krause as one of the secretaries back then.

Ein schöner Einblick in das (leider) kurze Leben der Fa. Tonomat. Sehr kurzweilig geschrieben.
