During the years since 1969 Ron Rich (✝7/2022) repaired many of these Microlog-"Phonographs" (Seeburg NEVER called this product a "jukebox") while working for an authorized distributor, the factory Seeburg itself and now as an "independent". He also was involved with the design of the LS1 chips used in the LS-3 models.

What does Micolog mean?
This was Seeburg's trade-marked name for the method used to eliminate the "standard alph/numerical key board" and replace it with the "digital system. Unlike most of the electronics of "the day", which were either "TTL" or "C-moss", it used the latest in "Large Scale Integration" (LS1) available.

This Microlog Trouble Shooting Guide was written to assist you in locating and pinpointing any problems down to the component. The author suggests to use it with the Seeburg USC1 service manual resp. the equivalent manual for your jukebox. The book is helpful for:
· LS3 (Apollo)
· USC1 (Bandshell)
· USC2 (Firestar)
· SPS160 (Olympian)
· FC1 (Regency)
· SPS2 (Matador)
· STD160/SQS160 (Vogue II / Quadrophonic)
· STD2 (Entertainer)
· STD3 (Sunstar)
· FC2 (Hutch)
· STD4 (Mardi Gras)

This Trouble Shooting Guide is for the above listed models from 1969 - 1977 and for use by a person who has a basic understanding of "117 VAC", "low voltage" circuits and how the jukebox is supposed to operate.
